Youth Ministries at Orenco
Grades 6 through 12

Orenco's ministry to youth focuses on helping students meet Jesus Christ, grow in a personal relationship with Him, and reach out and service others because of Him. Our Youth Pastor, Rachel Stramel, strives to meet this goal: to expose students to the life-changing truth of Jesus Christ through exciting events and programs.

We offer both middle school and high school youth groups for sixth through twelfth graders. Each group meets weekly on Sunday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

Our middle school youth group, called Impact, is for sixth through eighth graders. They gather for exciting games and activities, fellowship with friends, and a time to learn about the impact of Christ on our lives and how we can impact the lives of others. Day 1 is our youth group for those in ninth through twelfth grade. Like our middle school youth group, these high school students also gather for a great time of fun and fellowship, as well as a look at the Bible.

Both Impact and Day 1 gather together for special events throughout the year, including a trip to the corn maze in the fall and the occassional lock-in. Various Bible studies are offered throughout the year; past favorites include Dave Ramsey's "Generation Change" and "Starting and Surviving Middle School."
